Alpha Processing is a software development company specialized in creating advanced embedded systems, payment and settlement platforms and currency exchange systems for Partners, who are ready to take online payments and other transactions to the next level. Over the past years, we have expanded our expertise to include the engineering and manufacturing of our own in-house produced payments and currency exchange kiosks. We founded Alpha Processing in 2013, in Yerevan, building it based on our own experience of 20+ years in creating innovative and successful software solutions and systems. Reflecting on the past years, we are proud to have come a long way and serve a growing number of Partners who are at the frontlines of the fintech sector in the region. We are constantly generating ideas, building new, future-ready systems and are excited to be serving our customers achieve their ever-changing technology goals!

Ashot Hovhannisyan
Co-founder, CEO
Ashot is the co-founder of Alpha Processing, as well as its CEO. His 20+ years of experience as the mastermind and engineer of enterprise software solutions has resulted in the creation of some of the most complex and comprehensive systems, which are still successfully operating in the Armenian and international markets. An expert in computational mathematics and numerical methods, Ashot has graduated with honors from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of Yerevan State University (MS). He is highly skilled in a wide stack of programming languages and frameworks.
Suren Stepanyan
Co-founder
Suren co-founded Alpha Processing with the vision of building innovative systems for the fintech sector. He is involved in the company’s growth, generation of new ideas, and implementation of new solutions. Suren has graduated with honors from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of Yerevan State University (MS). Throughout his career of 30+ years, Suren has specialized both in the technology and business sectors. Over the past years, he has founded several companies providing fintech services and solutions. Currently, he is also the CEO of Alpha Invest, a company providing a variety of services for the fintech industry.
Artyom Mamyan
Chief engineer
As a Chief engineer at Alpha Processing, Artyom has been with our team since our first days and is leading our efforts in designing and producing hardware for monetary transactions and currency exchange. Artyom has graduated from the Faculty of Radiophysics and Electronics of Yerevan State University (MS). Artyom is also an experienced software engineer and equipment designer.
Karen Tonoyan
Software developer
Karen is a seasoned full-stack developer with an experience of 15+ years in the analysis, design, development, testing and support of sophisticated desktop and web-based applications. Karen comes with proven experience in finding solutions to the most complex tech problems. A graduate of the State Polytechnic University of Armenia, Karen focuses on creating and supporting large-scale software systems. He is highly proficient in working with a wide range of programming languages and frameworks.
Betty Panossian
Business development consultant
Betty comes with a 20+ years of impressive track record in resource generation and business development for a number of leading tech companies and NGOs. An expert in business communication, Betty has graduated with honors from the Yerevan State University, Faculty of Journalism. She has specialized in the design and end-to-end successful execution of holistic business development strategies, with an emphasis on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities that suit best to the specific growth stage of the company.
Arsen Abajyan
Software developer
Arsen is a senior full-stack developer with 8 years of experience in building scalable web applications with leading-edge technologies. A graduate of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Arsen joined the Alpha Processing team to build and maintain administrative panels that enable our products to offer advanced and secure online payments and other transaction solutions. Arsen is an expert in working with all major programming languages and frameworks.
Anna Mkrtchyan
UI/UX designer
As the senior UI/UX designer at Alpha Processing, Anna is behind the engaging user interfaces and the intuitive user experience offered by our products. A seasoned professional, Anna comes with six years of experience as a creative graphic and UI/UX designer and is skilled in using various design tools. She has graduated from the Armenian State Academy of Fine Arts and has also advanced her knowledge and skills through a number of professional trainings.
